Our Mineral Processing Division began when the patented Rotary Breaker was first fabricated by McLanahan Stone Corporation in 1893. Shortly thereafter in 1894, Samuel Calvin McLanahan (2nd generation) invented the McLanahan Single Roll Crusher.

These two lines of equipment transformed the company from a "foundry only" operation into a manufacturer of mineral processing equipment.

Since 1893, the corporation has grown its equipment base from the Rotary Breaker and Single Roll Crusher to include many more machines. Check out the Equipment section for a list of all our mineral processing machines.
