Flat Bottom Classifiers, also known as Lites-Out™, are part of the family of hindered settling classification equipment, including McLanahan Hydrosizers™. They are commonly used in applications that remove lightweight, deleterious material, such as lignite and organic matter, from a <4 mesh (5mm) sand product stream. These units are added onto existing Classifying Tank systems, required due to changes in the deposits or the market or can be stand-alone systems for construction aggregate or contaminated soil applications
