McLanahan Presented Environmental Award
HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa., Jan. 18, 2012 – An Environmental Award was presented to McLanahan Corporation from its partnered supplier Cintas in recognition for the efforts and commitment in protecting the environment and preserving natural resources.
This certificate highlights McLanahan’s positive impact on the environment from July-December 2011 through its paper shredding and recycling program. During this time McLanahan saved 1,613 lbs (2,560.98 kg) of paper by shredding and recycling with Cintas. This amount of paper help to save 14 trees, 2 cubic yards of landfill, 2 barrels of oil, and 5,646 gal. (21,372.44 L) of water.
