McLanahan Hosts Open Day At CEMEX Shepperton
Hollidaysburg, Pa., May 28, 2026 — McLanahan Corporation hosted an exclusive Open Day on Thursday, 21 May 2026, at the CEMEX Shepperton site. This event provided an opportunity for attendees to gain a better understanding of how modular equipment integrates into existing plants to create a more efficient, flexible and scalable operation.
The day began with opening remarks from Sean McLanahan, President and CEO, followed by expert-led presentations and a Q&A session with the CEMEX team.
Donal McNicholl, Director of Sales – U.K. and Ireland, was joined by Andy Hill, CEO of the Washed Aggregates Trade Association (WATA), to share the work being done to strengthen representation for the washed and recycled aggregates sector in the U.K.
Attendees then participated in a guided tour of the high-efficiency aggregate processing plant, which features the McLanahan UltraWASH Modular Wash Plant. This quick-to-install, easy-to-assemble module is designed to help producers like CEMEX meet fluctuating market demands by focusing on ease of maintenance, rapid deployment and modular efficiency.
“The effort demonstrated by both the McLanahan and CEMEX teams in delivering a successful event was evident. The strong attendance and high level of engagement made for a positive day overall,” said David Hunter, Business Line Director.
“This event allowed us to demonstrate the modularity and efficiency of the UltraWASH system in a real production environment to both new and existing customers, and we were pleased to receive positive feedback from attendees throughout the event,” said Hunter.
