McLanahan Launches Happy, Healthy Cows Podcast
Hollidaysburg, Pa., March 5, 2026 — McLanahan Corporation is excited to announce the launch of the Happy, Healthy Cows podcast, an educational series dedicated to helping dairy producers improve cow comfort, bedding quality and manure management on their dairy farms. Building on the success of McLanahan’s social media initiative of the same name, this podcast will serve as another trusted resource for dairies looking to enhance herd health, milk quality and overall farm efficiency.
“Dairy producers know that comfortable cows are productive cows, and that small improvements in bedding and manure management can make a big difference in herd performance,” said Molly Hendrickson, Marketing Communications Specialist – Agriculture. “With the Happy, Healthy Cows podcast, we’re expanding the conversation. Our goal is to deliver practical insights, management tips and expert perspectives in a format that producers can easily listen to on the go.”
Each episode will feature interviews with industry experts discussing proven strategies to create cleaner stalls, reduce mastitis risk, improve bedding consistency, optimize manure handling systems and, ultimately, keep cows more comfortable. The podcast will also highlight real-world experiences from dairies of all sizes, showcasing what’s working on farms across the country. The first episode, which will be released on Tuesday, March 10, titled “The Best Bedding for Happy Healthy Cows”, features Dr. David Reid, DVM – Rocky Ridge Dairy Consulting, LLC, and hosted by Renee Schrift, Director of Global Sales – Agricultural Systems. The two will discuss the best bedding for happy, healthy cows and the importance of bedding management and cow comfort.
“As our presence in the dairy industry has grown, so has our commitment to providing valuable, unbiased education,” Hendrickson added. “While you’ll hear McLanahan expertise and customer stories, the podcast is truly centered around one goal: helping producers create the happiest, healthiest cows possible.”
Listeners can find Happy, Healthy Cows on Spotify and Apple, as well as video format on YouTube and the McLanahan website. New episodes will be released on a monthly schedule.
