McLanahan Ultra Rakeless Thickeners (ULT) help reduce or eliminate settling ponds/tailings dams by separating liquids from solids in a slurry. The clear liquid recovered by the ULT can be reused in the wet processing plant to cut down on the site's fresh water requirements, while the thickened underflow can reduce downstream processing/tailings storage costs.
