McLanahan CEO Recognized For Community Leadership And Involvement
HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa., July 14, 2014 – McLanahan Corporation is pleased to share that Sean McLanahan, CEO and sixth-generation family owner, has been awarded the Paul I. Detwiler III Achievement Award from Junior Achievement of Western PA. This award recognizes individuals from Pennsylvania’s Alleghenies region that have made significant contributions to the social, economic, educational and cultural development of the region.
Sean was recently appointed to the Junior Achievement Board of Directors in Blair County, Pa. As a representative of a prominent local business, he is helping the organization to grow and further its impact in Blair County. As a leader of McLanahan Corporation, he has committed himself and the company to supporting the aims of Junior Achievement. Already company employees have joined the effort in presenting in-class curriculum to local schools.

The Paul I. Detwiler III Achievement Award was presented to Sean during the President’s Invitational at Omni Bedford Springs Resort on July 14.
